| How to remember all those pesky lunar mecha dates! |

The OOC timeline is a mess, and only for your amusement if you'd been familiar with various canon fanworks. In my game, Middleground DID happen, and while I don't explain it, it actually relates strongly to Lunar Mecha and the end of the world-- I just won't tell you why! <:D
Anyway! There's many dates you need to know!
Lunar Mecha started in Spring, 1894. I chose '94 because I knew I could remember it. For some reason, I recall 1994 as the setting for his first fanfic, and it's also the date EB was released in Japan, something all of us were following at the time. Consider what you were doing in the 90s, and you may be able to recall.
While I didn't change months and how years work for ease, since the timelines are integral to the plot, I consider the "new year" to start in spring, as the game officially started just when winter started to warm up. I always describe the weather. How many springs has it been since the beginning? If you can find a way to remember '94, you can quickly determine what year it is.
The date were many things changed suddenly and Laritta was cut in half... this is 1877. It's 17 years prior to '94. If you aren't sure, remember the average ages of the people around you (Geranium pointed this out once), or 20 years prior if you can't remember exactly.
Your year system is based on Our Year Drakken. I usually put a Y in it when referring to it in a timeline. (1877Y or Y1877) Therefore, finding how long its been since Drakken was built on the ruins of Zuria is simple-- it's the date.
Years before it are refereed to as -Y In otherwords, however many years prior to Drakken's terribly advanced, brave, and noble society. -1644 is the date of Pilluan society, or at least when it was first recorded to exist. I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU REMEMBER THIS. Probably you don't have to remember. Just know it's like a thousand and a half years before Drakken, and presumably some shit happened between the two. Which it did.
Basic timeline is useless now. I edited the OOC timeline like mad, and now it roughly tells you the changed dates. I'll go in and modify the known timeline soon. Forgive me if they don't add up! IE middleground, from the new world to 1877, it should be 7000 years. Those of you familiar with Luneris's history... don't think too hard about that.

Full Timeline
0SS - The woman who became known as the Goddess Althena took with her good people and 4 dragons to a new homeland she created from the barren satellite of the Blue Star, then known as Earth, which froze over, in stasis, until it could be again a suitable home.
5990SS - The terrible Magic Empire. The last of a dying breed was sent 1,000 years into the future. It was then that time travel was known to properly start, and thus sparked the downfall of the weak stability of Althena's world only half patched together with her magic. It was revealed she stole power from another planet, in past times known to the inhabitants of Earth, in order to make Lunar the green planet it became known as.
6990SS - The official death of the Goddess Althena, as at this time she was taken by force by one of the former 4 heroes, Ghaleon, by the power of the Dragonmaster's profound love for her-- as the human Luna.
7000SS - Middleground . This time represents the midpoint between the birth of the world and the end.
7990SS - EB takes place
10990SS - Lou fanfic #1 - Blue Star revived but not in contact with Lunar.
AU0/11900SS - Unification.
AU1000 - Events of ASF1. Since unification, Great Sister Lucia became a presence of great hope, but in her long life could bear no more, and she violently retired from her new, misguided position. In allowing herself to have faith in the power of humanity, in the end the human part of her was her demise.
AU2009 - Time of the Magic Empress. The fated Machine Age found by the heroes living in The Middleground finally occured, but rather than a violent place, it became something twisted and different.
14000SS/AU2010 - The Mechanical Age and proper End of the World, which should have been averted via a time loop. --Flukes with messing with time travel made this never happen. In this alternate 14000, the tetrarch Teal creates Blue Dragon Technologies.
AU2589 - Events of ASF2. The coming of the green, who supposedly marks the end of the world, was made Dragonmaster by mad Black Dragon Opal, in spite of the current tetrarch's discomfort.
AU2599/X0 - Yora's Flood/The First Death

20X - Coming of the Beasts/The Second Death
3479X/ -1644Y - Oldest signs of (readable) written history. Prior to this time, even the history of other settlements is shadowy.
0X-5123X and prior - "Prehistory"
5123X/0Y - Drakken tower is reactivated. The heroine of Drakken is said by the Madorians to be a Gilladine (warrior angel) of their supposed past, Gilladine Drakke, yet the supposed date of this possible mythological figure is unrecorded.
1877Y - Yoravine
1894Y - Game Start
Sort of considered cannon in my game is Lou's universe including ASF1 and 2, Middleground ala Hahn and Magic Empire of Rune. All of them are shamelessly ripped off and raped for only the parts I like.
SS= Silver Star

NOTES:
RETCON! In my old fanfics, it was in fact 2050. As it's so close and I consider Middleground canon, I'm going to say that it was 2009AU, or 13999SS. My only goal was for it not to be 1000 years after-- 1009 years after is an even weirder amount than 1050. I can think of a thousand reasons why this didn't wind up happening. By the way, 14000 is known as the "Mechanical Age" and is when the world was meant to be destroyed/locked in a time loop via Diana, who was to be the final relative of the Goddess.
I also mucked with many of the dates, lengthening history by a significant amount to reflect how long of a "dark age" there was.
Another note, DDE is a reference to Valina-- She ran a game called "Doomsday End", and the time period was called DDE, yet it took place when the blue star first became uninhabitable and they traveled to the silver star, Althena, etc. I've decided to change this to "X" because it is sort of null and it is not "Y". There is no real name for the time between the delayed end of the world and the start of written history in the new world. I refer to the new written history as simply "Y", or Year, and this starts when Drakken is built on the ruins of Zuria.
